Wednesday, March 7th

• Since we didn't get to it yesterday, we'll finish viewing Animal Farm today. 
• Then you'll have WORK TIME for your final draft of your final essay and turning in your class notebook for a final notebook check. 
• When you've turned everything in, you'll need to fill out a course evaluation as well. 

Tuesday, March 6th

• We'll finish viewing the 1954 animated adaptation of George Orwell's Animal Farm. 
• Then you'll complete the end of quarter vocabulary final exam. As always, you may use only your own notes. 
• Finally, you'll have WORK TIME for the final draft of your final essay, which is due in class by Thursday. 

Monday, March 5th

• We'll begin viewing and discussing the 1954 film adaptation of George Orwell's Animal Farm.

Friday, March 2nd

• You'll have WORK TIME to complete, print, and turn in your Final Essay Rough Drafts. (Due Today)
• You also need to turn in your Writer's Notebook for your final notebook check in this class. (Also Due Today)
• If everyone gets a paper turned in, and we have extra time, we'll start watching a movie. Woohoo! 

Thursday, March 1st

Woohoo! Welcome to March. Let the countdown to Spring Break begin...

• You'll take the PSAT Writing and Language Post-Test. Remember that you must complete this as part of your final exam in this class. Give it your best effort, and you'll get points to reflect that. If you improve your score, you'll earn ten extra growth points in this class. 
• When you've completed the test and turned it in to me, you'll have WORK TIME to continue writing your final essay rough draft, which is due in class tomorrow (Friday, 3/2). To be on track, you should probably have an introductory paragraph and two to three body paragraphs done at the end of class today. 

Don't forget to dress up for Dr. Seuss day tomorrow! There are prizes for the best Seuss-inspired outfit.
