Friday, December 1st

Welcome to December! It's the last month of the year, so let's rally for a strong finish.

  • Materials for Today:
    • Notebook, Psychoanalytic Theory Notes Packet, Lord of the Flies
  • Notes: We'll review the basics of psychoanalytic theory so we can connect them to our introduction to archetypal literary theory. Then we go over the basics of Northrop Frye's archetypal theory. 
  • Finally, you'll have WORK TIME for the following: 
    • Moral Courage Essay Final Draft (Due Today)
    • Monomyth Examples Page (Due Monday)
    • Vocabulary Page Ch. 10 (Due Tuesday)
